The member of the German Bundesliga team USC Munster - Chiara Hoenhorst fell victim to the tragedy that took place in the center of Munster.

The tragedy happened on April 7 when a small truck drove into a group of people sitting in a street cafe.

According to the latest information, three people, including the driver who died after shooting himself, were killed, 25 injured, three of them are in critical condition, including 21-year-old Hoenhorst. The reason for the crime is still not known to the police.

A promising volleyball player, one of the candidates for the German national team, was fell into an artificial coma, but the girl’s life is out of danger. The club hopes that with the effective medical care she will completely recover.

President of the club Jörg Adler told to BILD: “I can confirm that Chiara Hoenhorst was seriously injured and put into an artificial coma. She is no longer in mortal danger. “

Hoenhorst, a student of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster, is Number 15 at USC.
