Today HPK defeated LP Viesti after five sets (15-25, 26-24, 25-23, 17-25, 15-10) and took the lead of 2-1 in the final series. The next match is scheduled for April 12.
HPK are hoping that in this season they can defeat the opponents who are the titleholders in the last two seasons. HPK last time lifted the trophy in season 2015/2016.
Today, the defeated team was better on the block; they scored 16 blocks and 7 were scored by Anna Czakan (the best blocker in the league).
