Mireya Luis
Luis is known for her spectacular jumping power reaching 339 cm, more than any other player, though being only 1.75 meter tall.
In career, beside three gold medal at the Olympics, she has two gold medals and silver from World Championships, two gold, silver and two bronze from World Grand Prix…Also, she was five times Champion of World Cup and champion and vice-champion of World Grand Champions Cup.
Golden ages of Cuban volleyball have finished when she announced the retirement in 2002.
