Prosecco DOC A.Carraro Imoco Volley Conegliano has moved decisively to shut down growing speculation surrounding the future of star opposite Isabelle Haak, confirming that the Swedish international will remain with the club for the 2026/27 season.
With the season entering a crucial phase and the Final Four of the Coppa Italia just days away, co-president Pietro Maschio broke from the club’s usual silence on market rumors to protect focus within the team.
“Every year, as we reach the most important part of the season, transfer talk starts circulating around our players,” Maschio said. “It’s flattering, because it shows how highly regarded our athletes and our coach are worldwide, but it can also become a distraction. For this reason, I wanted to be very clear.”
Maschio confirmed that Haak—one of the most talked-about players in international volleyball—has committed her future to Conegliano. “Isabelle is not only an extraordinary athlete, but also an exceptional person. I can officially announce that she will be with us next season. And this is just the beginning,” he added, hinting that further squad confirmations will be announced in the coming days.
The club also reiterated its long-term confidence in head coach Daniele Santarelli, underlining the importance of continuity after years of sustained success.
Attention now turns fully to competition, as Conegliano prepares for the Coppa Italia in Turin, followed by the decisive stages of the Serie A playoffs and the Champions League. “We know winning is never guaranteed,” Maschio said. “But our ambition remains the same: to compete at the highest level and fight for every trophy.”
