
Galatasaray HDI Sigorta signed American outside hitter Thomas Jaeschke on a one-year deal, strengthening their squad for the upcoming season. Jaeschke returns to Türkiye after a two-year stint with Japan’s Panasonic Panthers and a previous spell with Halkbank Ankara in 2022/23. The 1993-born Jaeschke brings a wealth of international experience, having played in top teams across the Poland, Italy, China, and Japan.
In addition, Galatasaray has extended French opposite Jean Patry’s contract for two more years. Patry, a two-time Olympic gold medalist (2020, 2024), was Galatasaray’s top scorer last season and is set to lead the team in their 2025-2026 CEV Champions League campaign.
