Croatian opposite Gabrijel Cvanciger is set to continue his career with Belgian powerhouse Greenyard Maaseik after completing a memorable season with Sir Susa Vim Perugia.
The 22-year-old joined Perugia after a campaign with Grottazzolina and quickly became part of one of the most successful squads in European volleyball. During his time with the Italian giants, Cvanciger helped the club secure four titles: the FIVB Club World Championship, Italian Super Cup, Serie A championship, and CEV Champions League.
Despite playing behind established star Wassim Ben Tara, the young Croatian made valuable contributions throughout the season, both in training and when called upon during matches.
Gabrijel Cvanciger is one of Croatia’s promising volleyball talents and a regular member of the senior national team, which is set to begin its European League campaign next week.
