According to several Turkish outlets, later echoed by Italian media, Swedish volleyball star Isabelle Haak is reportedly on the verge of joining Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray Daikin.

While no official confirmation has been made by either Haak or her current club Imoco Volley Conegliano, the rumor has been gaining momentum in recent days. Sources suggest that Galatasaray has tabled a massive €2.4 million offer for a two-and-a-half-year deal, a figure that would make Haak one of the highest-paid players in women’s volleyball.
The potential move could happen as early as January 2026, even though Haak’s current contract with the Italian club reportedly runs until the end of the 2025–26 season. Should the deal go through mid-season, Galatasaray would likely need to negotiate a buyout clause with Conegliano.
Haak, who previously shone in Turkey with VakıfBank, could be making a dramatic return to the Turkish league under coach Massimo Barbolini, joining Italian star Miriam Sylla on the roster.
If confirmed, this transfer would not only reshape Galatasaray’s ambitions in both the Turkish league and European competitions but also mark one of the biggest volleyball deals of the year.
