USA vs. Serbia
It was the first game that ended in five sets so far at the World Championship. Basically, these two teams share three points, the USA got two while Serbia got one.
Anyway, this is a good win for John Speraw’s boys from the psychological point of view. They were trailing 2-1 and managed to win the game, performing very well in the fourth as well in the tie-break!
There were many ups and downs from both sides and it seems that the USA have made fewer mistakes in this game, which was enough to take the win.
Aaron Russell was the top scorer with 19 points, Matt Anderson had 18 while Taylor Sander added 16 points. One more player in the USA had double-digit score – Max Holt, 10 points. The next rival of the United States is Australia.
Uros Kovacevic was the best in Serbia with 19, Aleksandar Atanasijevic scored 14 and Marko Ivovic 11. The next opponent of Serbia is Cameroon.

Cameroon – Tunisia 3-0 (25-20, 28-26, 25-21)
Australia – Russia 0-3 (21-25, 20-25, 16-25)
United States – Serbia 3-2 (15-25, 25-14, 21-25, 25-20, 15-10)

Congratulations to the USA. In my opinion the USA were more motivated and wanted the victory more than Serbia. I still hope that Serbia will find its way throughout this tournament.
It was interesting to see the first squad of the USA after a quite long period of time. I was especially enchanted by Maxwell Holt. It just baffles me every time I get to see how nice and well-behaved he is. For me he is the last true gentleman of sport and in comparison with him Roger Federer appears like a rowdy :-).
Trentino fans must be very excited. Giannelli. Lisiniac, Kovacevic and limited action Van Garderen looked really good.
