The 27-year-old Knip completed the roster of the Romanian champions Alba for the next season. The Dutch player, a member of her country’s national team, replaced Brazilian Luiza Carvalho “Rocha”, who parted ways with the club for family reasons, one week prior to the season start.

Knip is a two-time European vice-champion with the national of the Netherlands (2015 and 2017) with whom she played the recent CEV European Championship. The new acquisition of the Romanian champions played for the German team Ladies in Black Aachen last season. Knip will compete for the place in Alba’s line-up with Serbian Silvija Popović.
