CHN W: Zhu Ting – Li Yingying duo brings Tianjin one step away from clinching title

Tianjin are one step away from clinching the title in the Chinese Women’s Volleyball Championship.



Tianjin are getting close to clinching their 12th title in the Super League as they beat Shanghai in straight sets in Game 2 of the 2019/20 playoff finals, taking a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. The pair of outside hitters, Zhu Ting and Li Yingying, were the pillars for Tianjin, scoring 31 and 26 points, respectively. Zhang Lei led Shanghai with 15 points.

Game 3 is set to be held on January 14 with Shanghai as hosts again.
