The Korean Volleyball Association (KVA) decided that Lee Jae-Yeong and Lee Da-Yeong, who were placed on a pillar of shame because of the school violence in the past, can no longer play for the country’s women’s national team.

The KVA announced the disciplinary measure against the Lee sisters, perpetrators of school violence for which they were accused in recent days: they will both be excluded from the national team indefinitely. At the same time, the club of the twins, Heungkuk Life Insurance Pink Spiders, also suspended Lee Jae-Yeong and Lee Da-Yeong.

Recall that an article was posted online in which the bullying of the Lee sisters of girls in high school was revealed. The two players posted the written apology on their Instagram accounts but despite that, the voice of criticism from public opinion increased. Subsequently, they were unable to avoid the disciplinary sanctions of the club and federation, facing even a life ban from volleyball.
