Paweł Zatorski will leave the reigning Polish men’s club volleyball champions Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle after 7 years.

ZAKSA will undergo considerable squad reshuffling at the end of the season.

According to Onet Sport, the reigning PlusLiga champions will remain without the club icon Zatorski, who has been wearing the jersey of the club for 7 years and with which he won three championship titles in Poland, and two national Cups and Super Cups each. During that time, he was awarded Best Receiver of the Polish Cup twice. He will go to Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.

Losing one of the world’s leading liberos won’t be easy to overcome. However, ZAKSA have already found Zatorski’s successor. The new libero of the Kędzierzyn-Koźle club will be Erik Shoji. A 31-year-old US National Team member is currently defending the colors of Russia’s Fakel.

Recall that there are speculations that his older brother Kawika will also join ZAKSA, replacing French setter Benjamin Toiniutti, who will continue his career in Jastrzębki Węgiel.
