Although the 2020/21 Polish Men’s PlusLiga is in full swing, the officials of Jastrzębski are actively working on strengthening the team for the next season but also for the ongoing one.
According to WP SportoweFakty, in addition to reaching an agreement with the Frenchman Benjamin Toniutti for 2021/22, the Jastrzębie-Zdrój club will most likely have another ‘Les Bleus’ starter in its roster next season. They allegedly signed a pre-contract with Stéphen Boyer, who’s currently competing in Qatar.
There’s information that the Serbia National Team member Uroš Kovačević is also targeted by Jastrzębski. The MVP of the 2019 CEV European Championship is to play in Beijing this season. However, the Chinese Super League was postponed indefinitely and some foreign players (such as Matt Anderson), aren’t willing to wait for the later start of the competition.
