Whoever expected that Modena, wounded by elimination from the CEV Champions League and numerous injuries, will give up in semis, was wrong. Serie A1 runners-up wanted to redeem to their fans, and their healing has just begun. Will Trentino have the answer in continuation of the series? We will have to wait and see as from April 12.
Other good news for Modena’s fans was the return of Serbian receiver/outside hitter Nemanja Petrić after long period of absence due to injury. He was entering as substitute. The Frenchman Earvin Ngapeth scored 23 points for the winning team, while the Greek Mitar Djurić had 16 in Trentino.
