Sarah Wilhite
The 22-year old player born in Eden Praire (Minnesota) is one of the excellent players from the U.S. University league. Busto Arsizio took the opportunity to sign Sarah, who was named for the best player of the season by the American Volleyball coaches Association NCAA.
In the last season, as a member of Minnesota University team Gophers, she scored 536 points (4,26 per set) and she was the main weapon of this team.
“This is a dream come true for me. I always wanted to play in Italy because of the league level and the quality of life. I’m very excited and honored to join the Unendo Yamamay Busto Arsizio. I only hear great things about the team so far. I know the coach and staff and the most important thing is that the team has continued to grow and develop. I owe a lot to my teammates and the coaches from the University of Minnesota. I can’t wait to play in Italy,” says Wilhite.
