ECH W: Russia first semifinalists (PHOTO)

In the first quarterfinal match at the CEV European Championship 2013, Russia has defeated Turkey in the straight sets even though Turkish girls resisted throughout the match. The top scorers of the match were Natalia Obmochaeva for Russia and Neslihan Darnel from Turkey with 18 points.

After Russia finished first set in its favor (25-20), Turkish players did not give up. With good defending team led by Massimo Barbolini had a score in their hands, leading with 22-20. However, Natalia Obmochaeva did not allow surprise; she led her team to 25-23.

In third set, Turkey started very well, leading 13-8, but Russian girls made a 6-0 run for 14-13. In that moment, everything falls into the water for the Turkish girls, and on the court was only one team. Russia has celebrated 25-19 win, 3-0 in stes after 81 minutes of play.
