BEL M: Wijsmans returned home, signed for Maaseik

After playing 16 years abroad, the receiver Wout Wijsmans decided to end cooperation with the Turkish Fenerbahçe and agreed to return to Maaseik where he was already playing at the beginning of his professional career (1997-1999). This information was proudly published on club’s official website.

Besides Wijsmans, another player came to Maaseik, The Dutch libero Gijs Jorna from Precura.

Maaseik finished the season 2014/2015 as fourth on the table, not entering into playoff finals.
