JT Thunders
According to our close sources, two new players are on scanner for the opposite position in the Japanese team.
One is the opposite from PGE Skra BELCHATOW, Serbian volleyball player Drazen Luburic while the second option is Maciej Muzaj from KS JASTRZEBSKI Wegiel.
The final decision JT Thunders will make during the day and tomorrow Luburic or Muzaj will put its signature on a one-year contract.

I don’t know what are your sources, but I think that you’re wrong about these players. Both have valid contracts with their clubs and I don’t think that Skra or JW will let them go. About Kurek – we still don’t know, what about his health and I think that we should wait for official confirmation. Lot of people are very unpatient in this case, and that’s the reason, why all these rumours are appearing in media.
@pol If some player has valid contract, that does not mean that the club will not let him go. They will all let him go for good money, if another team has really a necessity to buy new player, in this case the Japanese club. About Luburic, in his club he would still be 2. opposite and would spend most of the time on the bench. Something like Atanasijevic 4 years ago when Wlazly was playing. So we will see….
@Axe ok, but there’s second thing – if these players want to play there. They’re young, and I don’t think that they would like to try play in Japan at this moment in their career.

@pol They will play where their manager says them to play! Do not be naive, there’s no more glory, career and good clubs. If you don’t accept where your agent is sending you, and in most cases is like that, than you are finished! Only a few players in the world can really decide where they will play…
@Axe I don’t agree with you. Do you really think that player can’t decide about his future? Do you really think that, for example, Muzaj or Luburić are unhappy that they are playing in teams, in which they are playing? I don’t think so. Of course, manager of players show them offers from clubs, which want them, but they don’t make decision for players. Few years ago was the case with Michał Kubiak, when he wasn’t even member of NT. He got an offer from Jastrzębski Węgiel and he wanted to play there. But his manager and president of Politechnika said that Kubiak has still valid contract with club and he can’t join JW. And I don’t think, that Kubiak was finished then.
I just want to say that, if Luburić and Muzaj are working with responsible managers, they will not create situation like this with Kubiak. And I don’t think that they want to play in Japan. They realize, that at this moment in their careers, it could be step back or two.
@pol Do you know how much money Kurek was supposed to take in japan? And do you know they are searching opposite player desperately now? And do you know that Luburic as last WL winner will be 2. opposite in his team? And do you know he takes 20% of the money Kurek was supposed to take? And do you think manager will miss a chance to put him there? And… Do I have to continue so that you come to a right conclusion? I’m just saying, in this situation any good opposite player, with or without contract would accept this offer if he had any on the table at the moment
@Axe The naive one here is you….The manager might come up with a few choices but the player is the one that makes the final decision.
But still the player tell his manager and agency what their preferences are and what they want. Then the manager/agency goes to work and see what they can find.
