Urmia really missed Italian setter Dragan Travica in first two rounds. But, before Round 3 game, he received International Transfer Certificate from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and took his place in Urmia’s line-up along with Finnish Ojansivu and Iranian stars Mirzajanpour and Alizadeh.

Of course, it instantly gave results and Urmia prevailed over visiting team of Kalleh Mazandaran 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-16).

Paykan Tehran and Sarmayeh Bank kept their unbeaten record.

Paykan downed Khatam Ardakan at home court in four sets while champions Sarmayeh beat Shahrdari Arak also at home and in four sets as well.

The biggest positive surprise of this season in Iranian Men’s Volleyball Championship, Parseh Tehran, suffered their first defeat. Sazman Omran Sari was the first team to beat newcomers 3-2.
