The MVP of the European Championship 2011, MVP of CEV Champions league 2013, MVP of FIVB Club World Championship 2013 and the best women's player of CEV for 2013, has signed for the Romanian vice-champion.

Jovana Brakocevic Canzian

Jovana Brakočević-Canzian will continue her rich volleyball career in CSM Bucuresti.

After she terminated the contract with Dinamo Kazanwith whom she signed in May for season 2017/2018, Jovana waited the right time for her comeback.

It seems that it’s now because she signed for the team who last season finished with the silver medal while in 2017/2018 they are on the leading position with 25 points in 9 matches (8 wins/1 defeat).

Recall that last season she had an amazing season with her club, the Italian Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena, becoming the best scorer of the team with 371 points, averaging 15.5 points per game throughout entire season (including all competitions). In the 2017 CEV Champions League, she was the third best scorer including all phases (208 points) and second including the main phase only (128 points)!
