Jacek Skrok
“Following the numerous media speculations about our club and coach Jack Skrok, we want to state that we are full of respect for coach Skrok and his decision to donate kidney for his son. We support him very much in this regard. We want to say that we didn’t release him from our club – he has a valid contract until May. Coach Jacek Skrok is currently on recovery leave after surgery and he is unable to perform as head coach of the team. We are aware that this type of treatment requires from one to three months of convalescence. In this situation Board of the club has decided to sign coach Lorenzo Micelli, who will lead the team in the coming weeks, that are very intense for our team (frequent league and cup matches, long trips). At the same time we wish coach Jacek Skrok speedy recovery!”
Recall that volleyball fans in Poland criticized decision of Developres SkyRes Rzeszów, that decided to hire Micelli in a difficult moment for coach Skrok.
