Poland secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Türkiye in the Volleyball Nations League 2026 tournament in Gliwice, improving to four wins from six matches after their fifth tie-break of the campaign.
Aleksander Śliwka led the hosts with 20 points, while Artur Szalpuk added 17 and Bartłomiej Bołądź scored 14. Adis Lagumdzija of Türkiye produced a match-high 31 points, but the visitors’ 36 unforced errors, compared to Poland’s 22, proved costly despite their stronger attacking efficiency.
