“I feel very comfortable in San Martín. I’ve been there for six years and it’s been great. It’s a good team, but I think the moment has come to play outside. I’m ready,” a 20-year-old Peruvian NT and national championship runners-up Universidad de San Martín de Porres member said for “Depor”.
“I have offers from Turkey, Italy, Brazil, Thailand… These are the countries which have the strongest leagues. I need to go to a team that will let me play for the national team. I’m not going for the money, but to raise my level of playing. The Peruvian league has improved a lot, but foreign leagues are more demanding… I hope that by October, things will be clearer on this,” Leyva added.
