Allison Mayfield
After they hired Canadian middle blocker, Alicia Perrin, the Peruvian powerhouse San Martín secured five more signings for the next season.
A 27-year-old U.S. receiver Allison Mayfield is probably the strongest reinforcement of the club. She arrived from the Finnish side HPK Hämeenlinna with whom she took part in the CEV Champions League last season.
Apart from the University of Kansas graduate, these players also strengthened the squad of San Martín: a 16-year-old middle blocker Flavia Montes (Sporting Cristal), 18-year-old setter Lucía Magallanes (Sporting Cristal), 24-year-old receiver Grecia Herrada (Deportivo Géminis) and a 26-year-old receiver Yuriko Ventura (Deportivo Jaamsa).
