ITA M: Perugia get the lead again, Trentino stay in the race for the finals!

Trentino have managed to win the game against Lube Civitanova and to stay in the race for the finals!

The team of Ferdinando de Giorgi was close to clinch the spot in the finals but Trentino were able to prevent them, playing at the highest possible level, especially in the tie-break.

Uros Kovacevic had a great game, keeping Trentino in the race with 26 points, while Yoandy Leal was the best scorer on the other side with 20 points.

Perugia have earned the lead again in a clash against Modena. They downed the rival in four sets even though they were trailing after the first half an hour.

Wilfredo Leon led Perugia with 24 points, while Aleksandar Atanasijevic contributed with 19 points. Bartosz Bednorz was the top scorer with 17 points on the other side. 

Men’s Italian Serie A1, playoff semifinals, third games:

Perugia – Modena 3-1 (21-25, 25-17, 27-25, 25-22), series 2-1

Trentino – Lube 3-2 (23-25, 25-22, 24-26, 25-23, ), series 1-2

Second games:

Modena – Perugia 3-2 (19-25, 25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 15-9)

Lube – Trentino 3-1 (16-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-13)

First games:

Perugia – Modena 3-1 (25-15, 26-24, 21-25, 26-24), series 1-0

Trentino – Lube Civitanova 2-3 (25-20, 23-25, 25-19, 26-28, 19-21)

Dont be suprised if both these series go to a 5th match. The pressure is growing and showing on the faces of the coaches and players.
