Khimik finished the 2018/19 Superliga as the first-placed side to become the national champions for the ninth straight season, also the ninth overall. The team from Yuzhny claimed the top spot in the Top 4 with a 6-0 record (27-1 in the regular season) and 18 points, securing a title in the penultimate round, two days ago, when they beat direct rivals Orbita-ZNU-ODYUSSH (second-placed with a 3-3 record and 10 points) in straight sets. Khimik made sure to close the season in a victorious matter by beating Volyn-Universytet-ODYUSSH by a 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 25-13, 25-16) in the last round.
By winning the ninth Superliga title in a row, Khimik remained the most-titled Women’s club in Ukraine in front of Iskra Lugansk and Kruh Cherkasy (six titles each).
