French media report that Tours coach, Italian Giampaolo Medei, accepted the offer from Italian side Lube to replace Gianlorenzo Blengini on its bench. It would mean that 2016/2017 Serie A1 playoff finalists picked Tours coach for Bulgarian expert Radostin Stoytchev.

As it looks like from this point of view, winning 2017 CEV Cup trophy will pay off to Medei, who will return to Italy after five years. His latest coaching engagement in homeland was in Azimut Modena, where he assisted Daniele Bagnoli.
