ITA W: Conegliano take three points – Folie 10 days out, Scandicci win derby in Firenze!

Conegliano, Scandicci and reigning champions Novara are undefeated teams after four rounds in the Italian women’s volleyball Serie A1.

Raphaela Folie didn’t play for Imoco Volley Conegliano due to an injury and she will be sidelined for 10 days. Imoco scored the fourth victory without her against Grima Legnano 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-22). Kimberly Hill was the top scorer of the game with 19 points.

At Nelson Mendela forum, Scandicci came out as the winners of the local derby against Il Bisonte. They won the game pretty much easily 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-14). Isabelle Haak (Scandicci) marked the game with 21 points.

The reigning champions Novara have lost one set against Filottrano 3-1 (19-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-19). Trio Egonu (22 points), Enright (20) and Piccinini (20) worked well in this game…

Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena barely survived in Pesaro 3-2 (27-25, 20-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-12), thanks to good performance of Katarina Barun (27 points). Lise Van Hecke ended the match with 24 on the other side.
