However, there was no time to celebrate or relax as DRESDNER SC traveled already on Sunday to Baku for the next Champions League match with the 2011 club world champions of Rabita.

Nobody expects a win from us” says libero Kerstin Tzscherlich.

Anyway we do not feel any pressure and so we can go for a surprise”.

DRESDNER SC had a first training session already on Monday to get ready for the game coming up on Tuesday evening.

This is a great challenge for my players as Rabita is one of the best teams in the world and they took the Club World Championship in Doha this past October. We are the rookies so we do not have to feel much pressure” adds head coach Alexander Waibl who nevertheless expects a good game from his side; one set would help DRESDNER SC maintain good chances to make it to the 1/8 finals of Europe’s top competition.
