Igor Volley Novara has released an update regarding the injury of their German outside hitter, Hanna Orthmann. Orthmann sustained a knee injury to her right knee during the 1st EuroVolley match for Germany against Greece on August 17th. Post-match diagnostic tests confirmed a tear in the cruciate ligament and the meniscus.
The club’s medical team is currently liaising with Orthmann to plan her recovery journey, which is expected to span several months. More specifics on the surgery and rehabilitation schedule will be announced in due course.
