Aaron Russell has already talked with WorldofVolley, now we have interview with the Thomas. He talks about his first experience in World League and his new team, Resovia!
You had debut in the FIVB World League, so, how do you rate your performances during the competition?
“I would rate my performances as ok. I really focused on passing and I think in that aspect I did well but I think my attacking could have been much better.”
Winning a bronze medal is success for USA or not?
“It was good to end the week with a win but bronze was not the goal so I think we just have something to work towards next year”
You are going to play abroad for the first time in your career. Why did you choose Resovia?
“Resovia made me a great offer. I’m leaving school early and they are allowing me to go back to school fall of 2016 to work towards my degree. That’s why I chose them. They were willing to work with me on the schooling aspect.
Did you have offers from others league?
“I had interest from others but no offers at the time I signed”
Did you talk with Holmes and Lotman, former players of this Polish team?
“Yes I talked to Russell and Lotman. They spoke so highly of the club it made this decision an easy one. They talked about the overall professionalism and quality of club that Resovia is”
What are your goals for the season 2015/2016?
“My personal goals are to start and to contribute to a successful team at resovia. I have a lot of growing to do as a player and I think Resovia is just the place to do that” concludes Thomas Jaeschke.
