The U.S. girls have defeated Honduras very quickly 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-13), while Cuba were better than the Dominican Republic 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-19).
USA and Cuba have directly qualified into the semis, while Dominican Republic – Nicaragua and Honduras – Canada will fight for other two spots.
It is interesting that all matches in this competition have been finished only after three sets. We’ll see is it going to be a case in the quarterfinals and semifinals.
