Things weren’t good for Dresdner at the beginning. Home team was inferior in every element of the game which could be concluded by the result progress – 6-12, 9-16, 12-17, 14-19 and 22-25 at the end for Beziers.
But, after the break, it was like a totally different team came back to the court. German side was much better, controlling the result for the whole time and equalized after great spike of Lisa Izquierdo.
Host continued to dominate and solved third set in just 26 minutes. Beziers showed reaction in following set, leading for the whole time…until finish. Away team lost momentum in decisive moments, which Dresdner used to make a turnaround and clinch the set and a match after great block.
In Dresdner, Izquidero finished game with 26 points, while Karg contributed with 15. Schleck (16) and Deesing (15) were best at Beziers.
