With 10 days to go to the Drawing of Lots for the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship Italy 2014 to be held in Parma on March 10, VolleyWorld takes a look back at the men’s event which featured a stunning cultural and entertainment programme all set against the backdrop of Warsaw’s iconic Palace of Culture and Science.
As the lots were drawn to determine the pools for the first round of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship Poland 2014, scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 21, the volleyball family took to social media to provide their immediate reactions.
The evening in Warsaw was capped off with the unveiling of the newly designed World Championship trophy that the winning team will hold high at the end of the tournament this year.
