CEV BV W: German Duo Müller and Tillmann Crowned European Beach Volleyball Champions

In a final at the CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024 in The Hague, Netherlands, German pair Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann emerged victorious, claiming the European beach volleyball title. They defeated the Italian team of Marta Menegatti and Valentina Gottardi with a decisive 2-0 victory, securing the championship with set scores of 21-17 and 21-18.

In the bronze medal match, the competition remained fierce as Lithuania’s Paulikiene and Raupelyte faced Switzerland’s Böbner and Vergé-Dépré Z. After both teams were motivated to bounce back from their semifinal losses, the match proved to be a gripping contest.

The Swiss team edged out in the first set with a narrow 22-20 win, showcasing their resilience and tactical advantage. The second set saw Böbner and Vergé-Dépré Z extend their lead significantly, eventually winning 21-14 and securing the bronze medal. Despite their valiant effort, the Lithuanian team had to settle for fourth place.
