After just three sets, result on the scoreboeard was 3-0 (26-24, 25-21, 25-17).
There really was no chance for China to even think about getting a positive result, because Russia pulled out a team full of stars like Pavlov, Muserskiy, Spiridonov…
Still in the first period, Asians gave a big effort and almost got one from Russia. But that was everything they could.
