Puerto Rico recorded their eighth victory in the World Grand Prix this season, three more than in all their previous four seasons combined.

This was Puerto Rico’s second victory over Poland this season, the previous dating to last week’s Pool O matches in Doetinchem (NED) where the Caribbean team had cruised to a 3:1 win.

Puerto Rico settle for 15th place in the final standing of this year’s FIVB World Grand Prix, their best performance to date remaining the 10th place they claimed in the 2009 edition.

Puerto Rico’s superstar Karina Ocasio scored another 17 points thereby moving her personal tally in the competition up to 212 points.
