Croatia coach Angelo Vercesi: Congratulations to the team of Czech Republic. They played very good and demonstrated character. They have also shown excellent play with their second line. I think that the difference between both teams was the character – they had the nerve to be steady in most important moments.

Croatia captain Maja Poljak: It was a good match for us, but we had our ups and downs. We allowed them to earn this game, after we had the advantage. We let the Czech Republic to come back to the match. They were the better team.

Czech Republic coach Carlo Parisi: This victory is very important for us. You can’t compare the Preliminary Rounds in FIVB World Grand Prix to the Finals. This match was our toughest till now. Now we need to focus on tomorrow.

Czech Republic Helena Havelkova: It was a very difficult match for us, both teams showed equal play, but the fifth set was the most important. It all depended on it and I am very happy to have won it. Now we have to rest a bit and think of the final.
