AVC Men’s Champions League Set
Excitement is reaching fever pitch as Japan prepares to host the inaugural AVC Men’s Champions League, a revamped version of the Asian Men’s Club Championship. From May 11 to 18, top volleyball clubs from across the continent will battle it out in Osaka and Kyoto for continental supremacy.
Twelve powerhouse teams, split across four pools, will first compete in Hirakata City’s Panasonic Arena. The top two in each group move to Kyoto’s Shimadzu Arena for the knockout rounds, with semifinals and finals scheduled between May 15–18. This prestigious event also serves as a qualifier for the 2025 FIVB Club World Championship, making every match count.
Among the frontrunners are host teams Suntory Sunbirds Osaka and Osaka Bluteon, as well as Foolad Sirjan from Iran and Al-Rayyan SC from Qatar.
