Sarmayeh Bank won the Iranian men’s volleyball championship for the third time in a row.

The top-seed Sarmayeh Bank, based in Tehran, won their third straight national title.

The team packed with Iran national team players, such as Shahram Mahmoudi, Farhad Ghaemi, Seyed Mousavi, Adel Gholami and Mojtaba Mirzajanpour, with the support of a former Poland national team setter Łukasz Żygadło, beat No.7 Khatam Ardakan to sweep their final series in the 2017/18 Premier League playoffs (2-0).

In Game 2, which was held in front of 3,000 spectators at Ayatollah Khatami Hall, including Iranian Volleyball Federation (IRIVF) officials and men’s NT head coach Igor Kolaković, Sarmayeh prevailed over sensational finalists Ardakan on the road by a 3-1 (25-21, 25-13, 22-25, 25-20). The encounter lasted precisely two hours.
