After claiming Game 1 against Telekom Baku, wards of the Turkish expert Bülent Karslıoğlu achieved another win to take 2-0 lead in series – 3-2 (25-16, 23-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-13).
Players coached by Serbian Zoran Gajić provided tougher resistance in the second game than in the first, but it was not enough for the win. If they want to keep series alive, they will have to triumph in Game 3, on April 9. If not, Azerrail wil lift the trophy.
The Cuban Ana Cleger from Telekom was the best scorer of the second match with 31 points. As for the winners, American Madison Kingdon had 23 points.
