New captain of the Brazilian national team Bruno said what the fans can expect from the new National team.

He said that despite some new players in the national team they will follow the same philosophy as always, dedication to the national team.

How do you like the team at the moment?

“We are starting a new cycle. The team is very focused, motivated, despite that the team has new players. I can see desire from everyone who is here to give their best. Despite the short time we had together you can see that the team is reacting very well in this early work.”

What the Brazilian fans can expect from this new team?

“I think the main thing is the philosophy and mentality that the last generation left us with regard to hard work and dedication. Love to play for our country does not missing. The Brazilian fans can expect our best in every game. In this new cycle we have players with a strong potential for great plays.”

What was the significance of friendlies against Russia before the World League debut?

“In these matches we managed to get some match practice, on training you can not know at what level we are. A friendly has a different adrenaline, the more against Russia which has great players. It is very important to have this test to enter well against Poland in opening match of the World League.”

What is the pleasure of being in the Brazilian team?

“I think there’s nothing better than being able to play for your country. It is the dream of any player. To play for the national team is priceless, listen to the Brazilian anthem and ultimately winning the matches.”

Now as captain, is there was some change in your routine?

“There is not much changes. I’ve always had this personality to pull the group, trying to motivate all players in the time, so in that sense I have not changed anything. Certain change is that we are in a new Olympic cycle. But it is being split very well with the other players, especially those who have been here for a long time.”
