Sesc turned the quarter-final series against their biggest rivals Osasco around and went on to the playoff semi-final of the 2021/22 Superliga Feminina 1XBET. The Rio team achieved significant success as they eliminated the better-ranked rivals, and that after clearly losing the opening encounter in the series. The home-court factor, however, had no effect in the decisive match between the two teams that starred in the 12 Superliga finals, as Bernardo Rezende’s team tactically outplayed the hosts to schedule the best-of-3 semi-finals of the competition against top-seed Dentil Praia Clube who, just like 2 more teams, closed their respective quarter-final series at 2-0 earlier.

Dominican Yonkaira Peña top-scored Sesc today with 20 points and made 84% reception (25 digs, 1 error, 52% excellent). Juciely Silva set up 4 blocks.
