The match, played at Ginásio do Riacho in Contagem, showcased high-intensity volleyball, with Joinville’s dominant blocking (20 points vs. Cruzeiro’s 6) proving decisive.
Setter Rhendrick Resley orchestrated the plays masterfully, while middle blocker Felipe Brito, with 17 points, earned the VivaVôlei MVP award. Opposite Rafael Araújo led Joinville’s scoring with 20 points, while Wallace (26 points) and Vaccari (21 points) spearheaded Sada Cruzeiro’s attack.
Joinville now await the winner of Praia Clube vs. Sesi Bauru.

Vôlei Renata & Minas Also Secure Semifinal Spots
Vôlei Renata overcame Suzano in another five-set battle (25-18, 25-23, 21-25, 28-30, 15-12) to book their semifinal spot against Itambé Minas. Argentine opposite Bruno Lima shined with 24 points, earning the VivaVôlei award, while Suzano’s Daniel Muniz posted 20 points.
Meanwhile, Minas edged past Apan/Roll-on in yet another tie-break thriller 3-2 (25-18, 25-27, 25-23, 30-32, 15-11). Outside hitter Wilian Gabriel Doardo was the standout performer with 22 points. Minas will now face Vôlei Renata in the Final Four, set for February 15-16 in São José.
