BRA W: Minas Outlasts Osasco in Five Sets

Gerdau Minas held its lead in the Brazilian Superliga with a tight 3–2 win over Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde. Minas closed the match 25–21, 24–26, 25–21, 14–25, 15–10 to reach 23 points in the standings.

Osasco stayed third with 19 points, while Sesc RJ Flamengo remains the only unbeaten team, sitting second with 20. Canadian outside hitter Hilary Johnson led all scorers with 25 points and earned the MVP award. Thaisa Daher and Julia Kudiess combined for 25 more, including 12 blocks for Minas. Osasco’s top scorer was Argentine attacker Bianca Cugno with 22 points.
