Praia Clube missed the chance to secure a important home victory, surrendering a two-set advantage in a 2–3 loss to Sesi Bauru in the Brazilian Men’s Superliga.

Playing at the UTC Gymnasium in Uberlândia, Praia Clube won the opening sets 25–23 and 25–22 and led comfortably in the third, but saw momentum swing as the visitors reacted strongly to claim the next three sets 25–23, 25–19 and 15–12.
Despite the defeat, Praia earned one point and remains second in the standings with 36 points, tied with Vôlei Renata but ahead on wins. Sesi Bauru, meanwhile, stays outside the playoff zone even after the comeback victory.
The match turned in the third set, when Praia’s seven-point lead disappeared amid Sesi’s improved serve pressure, sharper side-out play, and strong defensive effort. From there, the São Paulo side controlled the contest through the tiebreak.
Opposite hitter Franco Paese led Praia with 30 points, while Guilherme Araújo topped Sesi Bauru with 29. Setter Mateus Bender was named match MVP.
