Itambé Minas claimed the final place in the 2025/26 Men’s Superliga semifinals with a dominant 3-0 win over Suzano at Arena UniBH.

Minas controlled the decisive quarterfinal match from start to finish, winning by set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-16 to seal the best-of-three series 2-1. The Belo Horizonte club had won the opener before Suzano leveled the matchup in Game 2.
Serve was the key factor in the victory. Minas finished with 10 aces, including six from standout outside hitter Djalma Moreira. Suzano failed to register a single serve point and struggled to match the hosts’ intensity.
Minas also held the advantage in attack efficiency and blocking, while Suzano committed 33 errors in a costly performance.
Opposite Samuel Neufeld led all scorers with 16 points for Minas, while Djalma added 11 and Leonardo Lukas scored 10. Guilherme Sabino paced Suzano with 10 points.
Minas will now face defending champions Sada Cruzeiro in the semifinals. The other last-four matchup will see Vôlei Renata take on Praia Clube.
