Taubaté – Voleisul
In front of its home crowd in the Abaeté gymnasium, the team from Paraíba Valley suffered, but finally overcame Voleisul/Paquetá Esportes by 3 sets to 2, with partial 25-18, 21-25, 23-25, 25-18 and 15-11.
The highlight in Taubaté was Lorena with 18 points. In the other team, Leandrão performed well and finished the match with 19 points.
In a slow rhythm, Vôlei Brasil Kirin proved as less motivated against Vôlei Canoas. The result: it lost by 3-1 and, with this upset, Canoas confirmed to be in the good phase and reached its fifth win in five matches.
Brasil Kirin won the first set with 25-22 thanks to 14 team errors of the home team. But after being well ahead on the scoreboard in the second set, Brasil Kirin somehow managed to lose it by 26 to 24. The third set was easier for Canoas, who closed it with five-point lead: 25-20. The balance came back in the fourth set, but Canoas was more focused on the match and closed the game with the score 25-21.
