BRA W: Rexona reaches unbeaten record of 20 wins!

Rexona/Ades from Rio de Janeiro had a little trouble maintaining their unbeaten record in Brazilian Super League against São Cristóvão Saúde/São Caetano.

Playing at home, Rio’s team won by 3 sets to 1 (25-11, 25-17, 21-25 and 25-18), remaining isolated at the first position on the table after 22 rounds.

Highest scorer of the game with 21 points was Rexona’s receiver Natália. She was also voted as MVP.

SESI-SP defeated at home E.C. Pinheiros by three sets to one as well (18-25, 25-23, 25-15 and 25-20).

With the result, the team from São Paulo ensures three points and keeps good run of games (5 victories in a row).

Fabiana and Suelle were the most inspired, scoring 21 and 20 points. The win keeps the SESI as the closest follower of Rexona in the standings.

Another team that has chances to take pole position, but with slim chances, Molico/Nestlé Osasco, was also successful, beating four placed Dentil/Praia Clube in a derby by 3-0 in sets.
