The latest accomplishment, gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, has supplemented Rezende’s trophy balance as a coach to 30+ both in female and male volleyball during previous 26 years.

Some media in Brazil speculate he might retire from coaching after Rio Olympics while some Italian journalists, like Gian Luca Pasini from gazzetta.it, have info that Rezende received an offer from Japanese Volleyball Federation to lead its Men’s national team in 2020 Tokyo.
